Welcome to the Independence Valley Subdivision Association located in beautiful Clarkston, Michigan. IVSA is a 130 acre private community of 57 custom homes on large wooded lots surrounding Round Lake. It’s a quiet and friendly community where Canadian geese, squirrels & chipmunks, and deer wander freely. The subdivision is close to Interstate 75 and all amenities but far enough away to be peaceful and quiet. It’s the best of both worlds!

If you see something suspicious, call 911 or the Oakland County Sheriff 248-620-4968. Our neighborhood watch program only works if you do!
The Oakland County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO) is issuing a major fraud alert for a scam where callers impersonate deputies, threatening arrest for missed jury duty or warrants, and demanding immediate payment via gift cards, cash, or apps to avoid jail—this is a scam, as the OCSO will never call demanding payment, so hang up immediately and report it to ReportFraud.ftc.gov.

Only the American flag is allowed to be flown. Temporary signs – sports teams, celebratory, birthday, etc. – are allowed. Political signs may only be displayed 45 days prior and 3 days after an election.
If you’re planning an outdoor renovation to your home: pool, outdoor structure, fencing, etc., you MUST get the Architectural Review Committee’s approval. Contact the board for more information.
